Siemens and BenQ team up on phones
January 18, 2006
BenQ and Siemens will soon launch three new devices:
The EF81 (far left–the first two pics) is a slim clamshell combines 3G connectivity with tri-band GSM, dual 262K color display, 2 megapixel swivel camera, 64 MB of onboard memory, Bluetooth, USB connectivity, a MicroSD card expansion slot and built-in media player.
The S88 (middle–the black device) is a candybar phone that features a two megapixel camera, a 2-inch OLED display, PictBridge (for direct-to-printer output), Bluetooth, a MicroSD slot, and USB connectivity. It only has 16MB of memory, though, and doesn’t have 3G connectivity (just plain old tri-band GSM with GPRS).
The S68 is also a candybar phone that includes a 262K colour display, Bluetooth, USB connectivity, PIM, utility suites, EDGE, and a measly 8 MB of memory.
