If you own a HP Photosmart Hewlett-Packard Co. is asking that you stop using the HP Photosmart R707 digital camera and contact them for firmware updates that will make the camera stop charging unrechargeable batteries.
What happens is once you hook up the camera to the ac adapter or the docking station it would try to recharge the batteries and regular batteries can overheat and explode. Stop using them immediately to avoid a dangerous injury. These camera’s were sold from August 2004 to August 2006.
