Normal Timepiece: Extra Model

I found this watch designed by Ross McBride fascinating in its concept–and to be honest, looking at it work, all that simply, is fascinating as well. Aye, aye, you’ll need to watch the little animation on normaltimepieces.com to really see what I mean (the picture posted here gives it away somehow), but be assured that it’s fast and easy to notice it.

Unfortunately, at the moment, Normal Timepieces are only available through the web to shipping addresses in Japan, in an online store called Styleshop Nuts. If you’d like one, now’s the time to write to the Japanese friend, colleague or acquaintance, isn’t it.
