The Apricorn DVR Xpander is an external hard-drive for DVRs. It has the capability to plug into any DVR that has an eSATA port like the 3rd gen TiVo or the common Cox or Time Warner DVRs. The 250gb model can hold an extra 140 hours of recording time, or 30 hours of High Definition recording and will run about $129. The 500GB model adds 280 hours onto the recording time, or 60 hours of High Definition recording and will run about $199.
