Nokia E51
May 15, 2008
i bought this mobile phone out of sheer necessity. it was our most awaited oathtaking the next day and my old phone (motokrzr k1) suddenly bailed out on me. i don’t know what happened but it won’t turn on or charge anymore. so anyway, instead of enjoying my spa that day, there i was towing my friend along and searching for that phone that could suffice. i was about to buy another motokrzr k1 but i chanced upon seeing this phone on one of the stores’ rack. held it in my hands and it just felt perfect.
so what are the phone’s features that attracted me?
1. wi-fi features
2. 3.5g connection (faster than 3g)
3. office tools (adobe, excel, quickoffice, powerpoint, etc.)
4. flash player
5. antivirus
6. standby mode (more shortcuts - yey!)
7. 2.0 megapixel camera
i would have opted for a phone with carl zeiss lens though. but i’m sure it would be more expensive if they put that in the e51. or maybe nokia already have that in mind and will come up with an innovated model soon.
overall, i’d rate this phone a 9.0 for efficiency, price and appearance. not bad for a smart phone.
