The Creative Zen Mozaic has a unique, multi-colored design, a customizable user interface, and great sound quality. It offers a voice recorder, FM tuner, photo/video viewing, and an external speaker. This player is available in 2, 4, and 8gb models, and it comes in black/gray or a special edition with different shades of pink. It is a good value for the money, but it is not without its drawbacks.
The player lacks a dedicated volume control, and if you want to watch video on it, you’ll have to transcode it with the software that’s included. The external speaker is on the back, so if you are holding the player it can be difficult to hear. The buttons are sometimes hard to press, meaning you may have to press more than once to get a response.
All in all, the Mozaic is a good offering at a fair price, but you may have to do some tinkering to get it running smoothly.
