The Samsung Shark

I recently got a hold of one of the new Shark series of Samsung mobile,  the GT-S5550.  This is my first time to own a Samsung mobile phone, not to mention a slider type and honestly, I’m very impressed with its performance so far.  The ergonomic slim housing fits snugly in my palm,  the shiny metallic design makes it cool and sophisticated.  The slide keypad is a virtual texting delight because of its easy to press large keys.  This 3g quadband phone has 127mb internal memory and up to 8gig external memory capacity.

The selling points of this particular unit is its ultra brilliance  Amoled display screen.  The big 2.2 screen size,  262k resolution Amoled technology delivers stunningly vivid, true-to-life colors like you never seen before even if you are viewing in an odd angle from the screen.  And what better way to appreciate it even more is with its powerful 5.0 megapixel camera with built-in LED flash which is perfect even for video recording.

The only thing that puzzles me is that it has no wifi capabilities yet according to the specification found in the internet, the GT-s5550 is wifi ready.  A simple misinformation?

Overall, the Samsung GT-S5550 is a great phone especially to those who enjoys the art of multimedia.  I, on the other hand would consider it as a fresh new way to see and experience the world in a more colorful ways only Samsung can deliver.
