Our first LCD TV
November 14, 2008
When I was married, my partner first thought of buying appliances than going out of town. It is practical and for the future use as well. The first thing we buy is Samsung LCD TV 32 inches. I love it. Watching in a large screen can give a different feeling. With the sorround music makes an experience real or just like watching a movie in a theatre. It’s a wonderful experience for us couple because we can enjoy watching movie together at home. There’s no need now in going to the mall and spend to watch in moviehouses except for the new release good movies. You can connect your computer in this big screen. Playing a game in your console with this screen is now enjoyable. You can now feel the real action of the game you played. I love this LCD TV. Addition to that, its color black appearnce and style complements the design and color of our master bedroom.

Our dream TV
July 31, 2008
After the wedding, my husband and I decided to buy our first appliance to invest. It’s our first and dream HDTV.We went to different stores to canvass first. We were down to two, Samsung and Sony Bravia. We want to buy a 32 inches TV.
I’m so excited. My husband is so eager to inquire the features of the HDTV.Of course, we have to compare qualities and prices before buying. The prices were too close. So, we focus on the features. Both have good quality picture and sounds. They have wide color enhancer. Both have best picture quality. They have a cinematic experience because of its wide screen and sorround sounds system.
So, it’s a tough decision to choose from. We check the packages. Both comes up with the same packages with sound and theatre system. But I love Samsung because the DVD included is USB ready. It will save us money to buy DVD disc for movies.Instead, we can download it through USB.
The decision is alread made. We buy now our chosen HDTV which is our dream TV.

Glo by TiVo (not JLo)
November 3, 2006
Want a “premium remote” to go with your Series3 box? Try “Glo.”
TiVo’s Glo remote is… well, a lot like the TiVo non-Glo remote, except for that snazzy chrome rim.
It does have a “DVR switch,” though, which allows you to talk to dual TiVos with the flick of your finger.
Costs $50.

Hannspree TVs with faux wood
November 3, 2006
This reminds me of those rad, retro wood-paneled station wagons one still sees on the road sometimes…
It’s a new line of HDTV sets from Hannspree. They come warmly wrapped in faux wood paneling, something that (I think?) hasn’t been done before in the world of HDTVs.
They come in three sizes (26″, 32″ and 37″) and display at 1,366 x 768. Each set comes with a memory card reader which can accept CompactFlash MicroDrive, Smart Media, SD, MMC, Memory Stick and Memory Stick Pro.
The prices range from $1,200 to $1,900, depeding on the size you want.
Very cool, methinks.

Wait To Get That LCD TV
September 4, 2006
LG Electronics and Sharp Inc. have both said that they expect prices to fall more than 30 percent on LCD TV’s that are 40″ and smaller. The stocks are also taking a serious fall from both of these companies and others that make these pricey television sets.
I think this was bound to happen. With many out of work and those with jobs not getting paid very much and of course high gas prices, many have enough sense to not get products that they can’t afford at the moment.
